[ltp] RedHat 7.3 on IBM ThinkPad 600E

Does your sound work?
My wave files play but at a very low volume.
CDS  play but at a very low volume.
All sliders are at max.
Midi files are badly garbled.
7.3 on these 770x, 770z, 390E, 390X
