[ltp] Keep awake/screen-non-blank with lid closed forever?

Hi!

I'm setting up a gps moving-map system, and I'm using a thinkpad to do it.
So the system consists of a garmin gps, a thinkpad 380xd inside the
dash, and an external lcd screen on the dashboard.

I've got it so that the thinkpad stays awake with the lid shut:
  tpctl --pm-sedation-lid-closure=-

But I haven't figured out how to keep the screen saver from kicking in.
I've tried disabling a number of timers, but it still goes black.

What tpctl am I missing?
