[ltp] PS2 SERA ENABLE ERROR!!

Hello,

i am trying to enable and switch on the serial port on my IBM ThinkPad
600X using PS2.
When switching on the serial port it's OK, but when enabling it with:

PS2 SERA ENABLE

it vomits the following lines:

Internal memory error occurred. Follow the instructions below:
1. Start Easy-Setup.
2. Select "Config".
3. Select "Initialize", then "OK".
4. Restart the system.
If the problem persists, have the system serviced.


I follow the instructions but when trying again to enable the serial port
i get the same message.


Any idea?, BIOS version?.
