[ltp] Mandrake vs Redhat

I don't if it's a site that compares the two.  I'm also a newbie to Linux and I've tried to install Mandrake 8.1 and Red Hat 7.1.  

I think that Mandrake 8.1 is better for newbie but I had to switch to Red Hat since I was not able to make my PCMCIA and my network card function under Mandrake. It works under Red Hat 7.1 right out of the box.

So my advice is : the best distro is the one that works the better with your PC...  For my it's Red Hat.  Hope it will Mandrake for you !
