[ltp] Sound on my Linux Thinkpad 760XL

/sbin/insmod uart401
/sbin/insmod sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 dma16=-1
/sbin/insmod mpu401 io=0x330
/sbin/insmod opl3 io=0x388
/sbin/insmod v_midi

This is code I found on a Japanese Site - this is all I could read 
actually... My sound works with it, but it is scratchy... How can I make it 
sound good? (Does anyone have the same 760XL model with sound working great? 
If so, Could I see your Commands to load sound?)
