[ltp] Has my battery failed?

Try charging the battery of the 390E in a different thinkpad that it
fits in (often the batteries fit several models) and see if it works
then. It's possible the charging circuits have gone bad.
Otherwise, mine did die in a somewhat similar fashion in my 560.
