[ltp] Ibm T21 redhat 8.0 modem problem

You will have to force the install of the lt_modem driver as it was
compiled under GCC 2.96RH.  It does work even if you get a bunch of
error messages.  Supposedly, Agere is going to build a GCC 3 version of
the modem drivers.
BTW, I gleened this from one of the Linmodem mail lists.
