[ltp] R31: Erratic trackpoint in GNOME 1.4 and all of RH7.3

My trackpoint is unusable in all the GUIs that come with RH 7.3. I can use 
it with the default Mandrake 8.2 setup - but not with GNOME 1.4.

So:		Trackpoint behaviour

Its behaviour is to vanish up into the top right corner randomly and 
display the right-click menu. This usually happens when in dialogs but 
sometimes when just moving across the screen.
