[ltp] intermittent video problem (770 tp)

Was that $50 for the 1024x768 screen, or the 1280x1024? 

I am in a similar situation where my 770x with the 1280x1024 screen just 
went out, ie all black, yet the system works great.  The external video 
doesn't work either, so I just assumed it was the whole video card itself...

Perhaps it might be worth trying to fix it myself.
