[ltp] Setting up a Zip 250 USB

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer,

I have a external USB ZIp 250 that I am having a problem with. I am running
RH9 on a i series Thinkpad. I am also using a USB visor cradle for my visor
Neo. The problem is that at first both my Zip drive and cradle worked
together fine. I then tried to make a script to run so that it would backup
my email files. The commands that I put in was to first mount the zip drive,
then to copy the files over and finally unmount the drive.

Somewhere in that I messed up the files /dev/sda4 so I thought that I could
delete it and just copy another similar named file over and be ok. Wrong!
Now when I try to mount it, it says either one of two messages: Either it
says that it could not mount the file system due to it not knowing what kind
it was or that only root can mount the drive.

I hope that someone out there can help me out, I am in desprite need to get
this fixed since my Thinkpad does not have a floppy drive and I need a way to
back up my files.

Thanks,

Jim
