[ltp] Disabling mwaven modem in 770z

Just picked up a 770Z tp on eBay. I've got everything working except the
mwaven modem.

I did download the mwavem driver and I suppose if I install that and fiddle
with it I could get the modem working. I'd much rather just disable or
outright physically remove, if possible, the mwavem modem and just install a
PCMCIA modem. As is, there seems to be an interrupt conflict and a PCMCIA
modem won't work.

Anyone know how to disable the mwavem?
