[ltp] Does the Random number generator on A31p work?

The A31p has a i810  with a random number generator.  When using Linux the 
i810_rng driver is loaded and the hardware is found.

However when reading the hardware register the data available bit is never 
set.  The chip responds properly to the enable bit - it just never generates 
any random data.

It it supposed to work?  If so is there some magic which the Linux driver is 
not doing?

Anyone gotten the random number generator to work?
