hy all.

i m curious if these are experienced by other users of equivalent h/w.
which is: R40 - 2722 DG1

sometimes my keyboard fires double events (on single press). this can be
quite annoying at times. would it make sense to have the keyboard
changed by ibm service or is there a soft solution (X options) i.e. some
minimum delay that has to pass between single strokes for them to be
accepted?

yesterday i was trying to copy a huge file (>2GB) from a mac G4 desktop
running osx onto the laptop using the onboard ethernet interface (tried
both drivers e100, eepro100) which resulted in the impressive transfer
rate of, yeah, about 1k/s. this is independent of the protocol being
used i.e. the same using nfs, afp, ftp, scp, http, etcp and only occurs
between these two specific machines, so transfers from each of them to
different locations on the same lan work just fine. also tried different
cables. didnt look at it on tcpdump though. any ideas?

thanks, xj
