Hello everyone,

I've followed the threads on this list about the thinkpad-specific
forward/backward keys and did google searches but haven't had much luck.

My environment is: Debian (a mixture of stable and testing), gnome 2.4,
kernel 2.4.23, mozilla 1.5 from the debian packages on relativ.org.

With this setup, alt-left and alt-right don't work at all. In fact,
when I hold down any of the alt keys and press left or right, xev
doesn't even register an event. It registers events for alt and for the
left/right keys themselves without alt, but with alt pressed left/right
doesn't show any events. Based on the xev issue I think it's a X server
config problem but I have no idea where to start on that. Any pointers
will be appreciated.

Regards

D.
