Did you check out http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/

They have a program ntfsresize that should
be able to resize your partition.   I have yet to try
it.  I "cheated" when I resized my laptop's drive
(IBM A31p):

    do install
    after IBM does the first reformat, the partiton is FAT32
    boot Linux (e.g., RedHat install disk)
    run FIPS and resize
    reboot and let Windows install in the resized partition
    reboot and install Linux
