Hello,
I am new in the Linux world. I have a ThinkPad T20 (2647 46G) - PIII 700 =
Mhz - 384 MB Ram. =20
The internal modem 3Com is not recognized by Mandrake 8.2.
I have also an external modem Zyxel Omni.net D (ISDN).
With him, I can establish a connection with Kppp but very quickly the =
system jams completely. I use Konqueror and Kmail. After one or two Web =
pages or some Email, all is blocked. Same Ctrl/Alt/F2 and F7 don't =
function. I must switch off brutally my system. Sometimes he makes a =
reboot automatically before I can switch off ... =20
At the time of the reboot, the file system is always corrupted... ! =20

I already reinstalled all several times. I waited for one month of the =
help of Mandrakeexpert. Still nothing! Then I would be indeed very =
thankful if someone could help me! =20
