Kim:
I just checked on ebay and found a number of Xircom cards, like the one I
use on my TP600x, available for about $20. Try either "Xircom realport" or
"Xircomm 10/100 56".

I will say that I had to download updated drivers from Xircomm to get my
card to work under either RH8 or Win98. I haven't actually tried to use
the modem but it passes the Win98 diagnostics. RH8 gives me an error
message, "eth0 doesnot appear to be present" when I boot up but usually
everything works fine as soon as I plug in the LAN connection. If it
doesn't work immediately, reseating has always solved the problem.
