[ltp] The dead 600, redux

Say, ebay offers 3d party warranties for electronics.  I don't have the
link in front of me, but maybe you can buy this and apply it to get the
machine fixed.

If you can't find the link on ebay (in general - the seller may not have
mentioned it on the page) let me know and I'll track it.
