Hi all,

I have a R32 (ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, P4m) with a port-replicator,
which has a DVI-connector.

The notebook runs SuSE Linux 8.1 with XFree86 4.0.2 and the radeon-driver

I tried to connect a digital flat-panel (SGI 1600SW with the SGI A/D,
D/D-adapter) to that connector, but did not get a signal on the screen
(OSM said "no signal"). The adapter was correctly configured (set to
digital) and beside that works in analog mode flawlessly.

Nevertheless I'd like to connect via the digital connector.

Questions:

~ * Did someone succeed in connectin a R32 to a digital flat panel via
the DVI-connector on the port-replicator?

~ * Does someone knows wether the R32 can use the DVI of the
port-replicator at all?

~ * Any idea what I have to do (maybe set some Options in XF86Config,
change something in the bios)?
