If you haven't yet, try tpb from 9.1 contribs, and I have also packaged
tp4utils (so you can use the trackstick as a mouse button for example),
which you can get here:

http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/9.1/tp4utils-1.0-0.beta2.1mdk.i586.rpm

I also have the thinkpad driver compiled for the Mandrake kernel:
http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/9.1/thinkpad-2.4.21-0.13mdk-4.1-2mdk.i586.rpm

And tpctl (which requires the driver above):
http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/9.1/tpctl-4.3-1mdk.i586.rpm

All of these are in Mandrake cooker (thinkpad drivers now in-kernel,
tpctl is in main (a better version than my one above, I should update
mine ...), tp4utils is in contrib).

I also have a package of most of the available cursor themes (since
we're configuring things relating to a mouse):

http://ranger.dnsalias.com/mandrake/9.1/cursor_themes-0.0.2-2mdk.noarch.rpm

Regards.
