It's to early! =)

You were right... I need to get my Laptop to where I have PCMCIA Support AND
Network Support (via PCMCIA) and then Install a fresh copy of Linux (Any
'light weight' distribution as I will have to find my apps myself (as
XFree86 4.x.x doesn't like my video and the kernel doesn't like my PCMCIA,
yet...)

Both methods are good - and I'm looking at each - Floppy Shell and HD Shell

maybe I'm confused =) lol -- I'll figure it out. =)

I'd really like to install it over FTP as I think that is Cool! (Slow, but
cool =) -- I know mandrake does it...

Anyhow... I don't think I am reading anything right this morning so I'll
shut up...

Thank you Tino!

Oh, sorry if you misunderstood this. The partition will be part of the
Debian installation (root partition), so if you want to install Debian,
you use this partition for the system that you want to install. I
thought you are just looking for a boot floppy with a shell and PCMCIA
support.
