What bios version... I did upgrade it when I got it because it wouldn't work
with Windows (Same PCI IRQ Steering problem...) (By Windows, I mean Win
95(B, and C) 98 (FE and SE), NT (Workstation)

My POST/BIOS version shows to be 1.59
Power Management version is 1.45
Video 1.00
Setup 4.10
Slave Controller version 1.12

Bios version, Date: HZET73WW, 12/09/99

After I getsome stuff done I will check out IBMs site to see if mine is the
most recent and post again =)

I did get the IRQs to work with Windows 98 finally! (The CardBus IRQs were
off)

As Tino suggested, get ps2.exe if you need to tinker with IRQ's. I have a
760XL, and I know PCMCIA works fine with a 2.4.xx kernel, same for the close
cousin 760XD. What version of BIOS (or should I say "System Program Service
Diskette") do you have? There were fixes specific to Win98. Both of the
machines I mentioned have the latest available. Something to consider at
least.
