Fn-F4 or closing the lid will suspend. 

Note, if I have a PCMCIA card in, it won't suspend.

Most of the time, I can suspend, take it home, and unsuspend.
Sometimes, when I unsuspend, I have video noise (garbage) at the
top of the display, and the laptop is not responsive at all.
