just thought this might be of interest for those who didn't notice

A new gnome based frontend announced its innitial release (0.1) on
freshmeat recently.

It's name is configure-thinkpad,written by Cheuksan Edward Wang.

It provides a graphical interface for power management settings, resume
timer and trackpoint behaviour. Also there are three buttons to put the
machine to standby, suspend and hibernate.
