Which driver? radeon? dri-patches?

this is quite hacky...I suggest using a 2.6 kernel, the synaptics driver, a=
nd=20
the synaptics driver for X.

cpufreq patches. They are in 2.6..

You'll need to patch X, and have some scripts unloading drivers.

I think so..

Disabling ;)
IBM has an open source driver for it.

See http://zodiac.dnsalias.org/misc/t40p.html if you whish to use a 2.6er=20

Some operating systems are called `user friendly',
	Linux however is `expert friendly'.
Encrypted Mails welcome.
