Once you are in Password->Power On does just hitting enter twice bring up
the OK button?

I have a boot password on my Thinkpad 600X, but now I need to put it in
a vehicle for some data acquisition. Everything is set up correctly
(data acquisition starts via init in run level 2, machine will halt on
CTRL-ALT-DEL etc) except that the machine won't boot without the boot
password.

I can get into the BIOS with the supervisor password, but if I do
Password->Power-on, I can't use the "OK" button unless I have typed
something in the password box (but I don't want any password ..).

Anyone know how to remove the boot password?

Regards,
Buchan
