Hi Greg.

According to http://www.linux-thinkpad.org/links.html it's defenitly
_not_ recommended to use i2c and lmsensors on a Thinkpad since "IT WILL
PROBABLY HOSE YOUR EEPROM" (big red scary letters). The information on
the page is a bit dated however (15 July 2000) so I don't know if this
also applies to later Thinkpad models. I haven't dared to try with it
with my R30.
