| I've an thinkpad T30 and when I use the fn+f3 to blank the screen,
the sound is also stopped (tough the screen is blanked and restored
correctly). I've this behauviour both with kernel 2.4 and 2.6 (using
APM). Is this expected? If so, how can I blank the screen without
waiting for the configured timeout (and still keep the sound working)?
