[ltp] R40 with external TFT display...

Hi,

i've a brandnew R40 (Model 2722-3GG, 1024x768, ATI Radeon Mobility M6) and 
want to switch to an external 17'' TFT-Display (Resolution: 1280x1024) at 
work.

It is possible to deactivate the internal display and switch to a higher 
resolution? If yes, how I have to configure X? Any URL, config file or tips 
for me?
