[ltp] track-pad stopped working after configuring a mouse

Sounds like you removed the lines in you XFree86 config for the
track-point.  Check out http://bellet.info/~bellet/laptop/t40.html

He has a nice explanation on how to use both USB and the internal
pointing devices.
