Hello,

I'm trying to get my R40 running with Kernel 2.6.5 and ACPI, but I've got some
problems:

1. I'm using Debian, and with the acpi and acpid packages, no scripts for
handling the events lid open/close or the power management buttons (suspend to
ram or disk) in /etc/acpi are provided. Does anyone know where I can get such
scripts from?

2. I'd like to use software suspend as the the BIOS suspend is terribly slow
with 1 GB of RAM. When using the 2.6.5 Kernel, I can use the software suspend,
but the resume does not work properly (machine hangs). I can't find detailed
information on how to configure it, are there any things to consider? I've just
configured my swap partition as the default sw-suspend partition ... can't I use
my Thinkpad hibernation partition for that (as with 2.4)

3. I've had problems with 2.6.4 and the USB modules, which crashed after a
resume (especially ehci), even if I unloaded all modules before suspend and
stopped hotplug (also see http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2412 for the
problem). Does anyone have similar problems and a solution for that?

Thanks
Günther
