I downloaded the PS2.EXE utility for my TP. I booted from a DOS floppy and ran it. I
issued the commands 'PS2 IR disable' and 'PS2 SERIAL on'. When I boot back into Linux, I
don't have any serial ports.

robin root # setserial /dev/ttyS0
/dev/ttyS0, UART: unknown, Port: 0x03f8, IRQ: 4
robin root # dmesg | grep ttyS
robin root # dmesg | grep -i serial
Serial: 8250/16550 driver $Revision: 1.90 $ 8 ports, IRQ sharing disabled
robin root # setserial /dev/ttyS1
/dev/ttyS1, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ: 3
robin root # setserial /dev/ttyS2
/dev/ttyS2, UART: unknown, Port: 0x03e8, IRQ: 4
robin root # setserial /dev/ttyS3
/dev/ttyS3, UART: unknown, Port: 0x02e8, IRQ: 3
robin root # setserial /dev/ttyS4
/dev/ttyS4, UART: unknown, Port: 0x0000, IRQ: 0

Any suggestions?
