[ltp] Screen Dim after suspend

I'm starting to get the impression that this is an APM and Xorg bug and not
necessarily a ThinkPad problem. Does any one know if it is possible to use
ACPI instead of APM on the 570?

I see that too (T40p). On battery power. Might be a power-saving mode or
something. After time it seems to get brighter, unless that is only my
perception as my eyes adjust.

Anyway, just another data point. No solutions to offer.
