Suspend works! Thanks! Finally could get ACPI almost as well as APM. 

LCD does not turn off with Fn-F3, even with "echo off > /proc/acpi/ibm/lcd"

Hibernate does not seems to work too.

Should we have a wiki page or something so that users can post their relevant 
ACPI scripts up?
