[ltp] NetGear WG511 with fc3

The NM-520 (I don't know, just guessing here) could be an old (16 bits
ISA-like) PCMCIA card, while the WG511 is a (32 bits PCI-like) Cardbus
device (not guessing here). That is the reason why is on
IRQ 11.

Not sure abour Fedora hardware discovery tools (I use Slackware), but
however neither those tools nor iwtools (like iwconfig) will bring your
card up because the firmware uploading process and card initialization
(green LED on) is not being completed properly.

I had to try different kernel versions and patches (I am still on 2.4.X)
and to update the hotplug package (firmware did not upload correctly
with the old one) to get a working configuration.

Despite the included kernel driver, is your 2.6.X kernel properly
configured (i.e sysfs mounted) as indicated by the prism54.org
guys?

You can find a lot of information there and also a large forum with hints
for problems like yours.

Regards,
Mauro
