Didrik,
thnak you for your help.

What do you mean by "first fat32 partition" ?

My first partition is Windows XP Pro boot partition and is NTFS.
I have a FAT32 partition on the disk but is is a LOGICAL partition which
under linux is seen as /dev/hda5. Can I create the hibernate file there
? Anyone know the size of the Video RAM of my T40 ? I think the 1152
example in your nice pages is correct since I have 1024MB RAM.

Thank you again,
Bob
