I'd say, get the cheapest battery you can, from a maker you recognize, from 
a vendor with a decent warranty.  I recently bought a batter from Pinnacle 
Technology, and the battery came in an IBM box, so you may get lucky.

But others will likely say "I bought X brand and it failed/didn't come/blew 
up/etc".  YMMV.
