Hello everyone,

I have a T42 running Mandrake 10.1. Most things are working fine,
including the wireless, after little more than the stock downloadable
install available to a MandrakeClub Standard member. The problem I have
is trying to turn the thing off.

Doing a shutdown from Windows everything works fine. When I shutdown
from Linux, the round "power" LED goes off but the battery and wireless
LEDs stay on (even if the power cord is unplugged), and the fan keeps
running. Only pressing and holding the power button for 10 or so seconds
really turns it off completely.

Thanks for any suggestions that can be offered.
