thank you for your answer, 
I am using  XFree86 version:
xserver-xfree86:  4.3.0.dfsg.1-10

I have been looking for web pages with the T41 graphics configuration
and many people had to make nothing for the 3D acceleration...

I have also installed both "xserver-xfree86-dri-trunk" and
"xlibmesa-gl1-dri-trunk" packages.
