on the console i do atitvout -f t

i still couldnt get X to work with TV though. i tried a couple of
different options right now but no breakthough, only distorted
flickering stripes, well at least in color.

also, if anyone knows, i just read that e.g. in the a30p the svhs
connector is an input as well. is that the case on the R40 too?
