[ltp] Bootsplash patch against 2.6.2 disables Plug 'n Play support

I just patched the 2.6.2 kernel for bootsplash=20
(bootsplash-3.1.3-2.6.0-test9.diff). After that, the Option Plug and Play=
=20
support under Device Drivers seems to be disabled. Why? I want to have Pn=
P in=20
my kernel.

Did anyone experienced the same?
