Based on my experience:
	- 2.4.x => APM. Pros: Easy to manage sleep mode.
	- 2.6.y => ACPI. Pros: Cpufreqd. Cons: sleep and some devices.

Now, i'm on my sofa. wireless and almost batteryless :-)
With i2100, ndiswrapper works fine.

Only one thing: beware of unload the driver (ndiswrapper) before sleep the
laptop.

Ask me for .config and other scripts.
Actually, my options are gentoo/kde 3.2/kernel 2.4.23.
