Hello,

I have a tp240 (2609-21U) that I bought used. I didn't come with the
external floppy drive, and now I'm looking for a bootable device to use
for a rescue disk, and for when I install a new hard drive into it.

I have a Lexar PC-Card to Compact Flash adapter, but I can not make it
boot. I've changed the BIOS boot order to have removable hard disks to
boot before the fixed hard drive.

Are there compact flash adapters that are bootable for this system? If
there are, with they work with the ide-cs modules under linux?

If I can't make this work, then I guess I will have to track down a
floppy on ebay.

Thanks,

Adam.
