Well at least some of the buttons (like Fn-suspend) are supported on
my machine by acpi, and I can assign actions via /etc/acpid/ (on a
Debian system).  However there's currently some bug that causes
/proc/acpi/events to stop reporting after an S3 suspend (to RAM).
