[ltp] Switching between LCD and external monitor on X21

Hello,
I have an X21, and I can't switch between the LCD and an external monitor
in X11. It works fine on the console, and thanks to TPB + XOSD I see that
pressing Fn+F7 does get recognized, but it doesn't have any effect.
Adding 

Option "crt_screen"

to the "Device" Section of XF86Config-4 didn't seem to change anything.
I'm using XFree86 4.3.
Am I asking for the impossible, or did anyone solve this?
My XF86Config-4 is attached.
