I updated to XFree86 4.3.99.902 and now it works (don't get segfaults
anymore). Maybe you want to try that.

Also i found something (when it already worked for me) about segfaults
on the DRI faq or troubleshooting pages. You might have a look there if
updating only doesn't help.
