Hi Sergio, hi list,

do you have '[*] CPU Frequency scailing' running with your 2.6.1-mm2 kernel ?
When I enable the '<*> Intel P4 clock modulation' in this kernel, I have no
output in 'ls /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ ' !!

The dmesg output for 2.6.1-mm2 :

cpufreq: P4/Xeon(TM) CPU On-Demand Clock Modulation available
cpufreq: Unknown P4. Please send an e-mail to <linux@brodo.de>
speedstep-centrino: found "Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1600MHz":max frequ
ency: 1600000kHz

I have no such problem with 2.6.1-rc1-mm2 !?

The dmesg output for 2.6.1-rc1-mm2 :

cpufreq: P4/Xeon(TM) CPU On-Demand Clock Modulation available
speedstep-centrino: found "Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1600MHz": max
frequency: 1600000kHz
speedstep-smi: signature:0x47534943, command:0x008200b2, event:0x00c000b3,
perf_level:0x07d00000.

cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver
p4-clockmod
