[ltp] DVI throughput with port replicators/docking stations

Hei, this is slightly of topic now, but anyway, i wanted to let you
know...

I own this cute little machine now...and figured the following method to
enable 1600x1200 on DVI with the Windows Presentation director utility:

You can add a profile with VGA output and set it to 1600x1200. Then you
also add a profile with DVI output and set it to 1280x1024. The you open
regedit, look for the Presentation directors key structure and copy the
resolution value from the VGA profile to the DVI profile (don't remember
the keys name right now, but the value for SXGA is 04000500. I don't
have the replicator yet, but after changing it and reopening
Presentation director application it shows 1600x1200 in the DVI profile.
