[ltp] slackware 10 installed :D but ...

hey again ...
i installed slack 10 audio worked, video worked, wireless worked, lan worked 
...but the modem :S
i think its a winmodem ... but maybe its not ...i got lost when i had to 
choose between PCI1, PCI2, TTyS0 TTyS1 and such ...
what should i choose ? where is "plugged" the modem in a laptop ?
