[ltp] T20 and floppy/cdrom swapping

I managed this morning to warm swap my drives with the "hotswap" package.

    1) hotswap unregister-ide
    2) suspend the T20
    3) removing the cd-rom drive and puting in the floppy
    4) awakening the T20

and back again with

    1) suspending the T20
    2) swaping floppy with cd-rom drive
    3) awakeing the T20
    4) hotsawp rescan-ide

Anyone success with hot swapping (i.e. without suspending the T20)? Or is 
it not possible?
